Directed by Robert Bradly Hao, with Loss is an online interactive theatrical anthology that explores grief across different cultural and linguistic contexts.
Conceptualized and filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic, Bradly and I wanted this online play to feel personal, much like a handwritten postcard from a loved one or a penpal. The textures are all paper and the images have a stamp effect. Its logo was handdrawn by me; Bradly wanted to keep the candle icon as a symbol of hope in a difficult time. In the souvenir program, some of the text were in my handwriting as well as a few of the actors. with Loss is our letter to the world that documents this difficult period in history.
